We are seeing patients face-to-face, provided they have no cold or flu like symptoms. As of Monday July 20, we can only offer a Medicare rebate for telehealth patients if they have been seen in the practice in the last 12months. Therefore new patients will have an out of pocket expense.
COVID-19 VACCINE NOTICE
We are preparing for the arrival of the vaccine, please read the consent form and check your eligibility before considering making an appointment. It is important to mention we are only receiving a small number of doses every second week, so please be patient. Reception staff will assist you as best they can.

We take your safety and the safety of staff within the practice very seriously, we request that ALL patients book phone consultations before visiting us in person.
If you are experiencing symptoms of fever or respiratory infection DO NOT ATTEND the practice, but DO call reception who will make arrangements for you to have a phone consultation with a doctor 9360 4712. If your symptoms become serious you should call 000.
Please note we are not routinely testing for COVID-19 at the practice.

WGP was established over 100 years ago and remains an independent accredited practice. We are a group of people working together aiming to provide the highest level of health care for our patients. Our goal is to have an ongoing professional relationship with our patients and continuity of care.

When requesting information from Woollahra General Practice it is important you understand that our email system is not secure. Our policy requires that you email us stating that you understand this and then your request will be passed onto your treating GP. Your GP will then make a judgement as to whether the information requested is too compromising, explicit or sensitive in nature and will be able to be sent via email. When using this website please go to the”contact us” page and put your request in the message box acknowledging the policy mentioned above. We will endeavour to respond to your query by the following business day. Email services may incur an out of pocket fee.
We can be available for home visits by prior arrangement at GP’s discretion, to regular patients of the practice who are unable to attend the surgery and for patients in nursing homes, hostels and private hospitals at which we have visiting rights. Please phone the surgery to enquire.
RESULTS & REQUESTS
Your doctor will advise you at the time of consultation how to follow up your results.
Please allow 24hours for your GP to respond if making a request online or over the phone.
SCRIPTS & REFERRALS
A $20 fee will be charged for renewal of scripts and referrals outside of a consultation. Your doctor may request a review.
This is a private billing practice, we do not bulk bill. There will be out of pocket expenses when consulting a GP at the Practice. A list of fees is available at reception. Credit card facilities and eftpos are available. Australian health care card holders, pension card holders and Veterans Affairs cardholders will be bulk-billed at the doctors discretion.

Over time, My Health Record will bring together health information such as medical conditions, allergies and test results in one place. This means safer and more efficient care for you and your family.
The three month “opt out” period has been extended to the 31st January 2019. During this period individuals who do not want to have a My Health Record can opt out by:
